What do you like to wear on nights out? I’m going to dinner with Alex tonight, and although I’ll probably wear a T-shirt and jeans, this velvet top caught my eye. The color is beautiful, and there’s something so sultry about velvet. (This shirt and tank are also cute.)
We often make the boys frozen tortellini for dinner, but they can feel a little sad and soggy. So, I was happy to see Smitten Kitchen’s advice to cook them like potstickers, which makes the tortellini crispy. Here’s her 12-minute meal.
What TV shows are you watching right now? Alan Yang, the co-creator of Master of None, has a new Amazon series, Forever, which comes out September 14th. S.N.L. alumni Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen play a married suburban couple — and, says Yang, “there’s some crazy shit that happens.”

If you’re in New York this Thursday, please join us for a fun evening! I’ll be chatting with the wonderful Hovey sisters about home decor tricks. We’ll have wine and cookies, and we’d love to see you. We’ll be at MoMA Design Store, Soho, at 6:30 p.m., and feel free to RSVP here, if you’d like.
P.S. More fun things, including the joy of mini pizzas.
